In the Shanghai Ranking of academic ranking of world universities, The Department of Clinical Medicine, which is responsible for the research at Aarhus University Hospital, received a high ranking for the clinical research.

In 2017 we received the 'Building Better Healthcare Award' for International Design: C F Møller Architects for the new university hospital in Aarhus.
